Open meeting about art in the landscape
Presentation of the artists, the traditional craft practitioners and the sites available for the work. Presented by Per Gunnar Eeg-Tverbakk. Registration Meeting Room, Kjerringøy Bryggehotell. Free entry. May 28th from 10am to 3.30pm Participating artists will present themselves in images, words and, possibly, performance There will be light refreshments, and wraps for lunch. Artists from NNBK, NNKS and NBK can join the workshops together with the biennale artists.
We have 4 spear places for free on each workshop. Be the first to Registrer! K-Lab offers workshops for the artists, focusing on local materials and traditional crafts. Inviting professional, active crafts-persons to show, teach and guide the artists to possibly use these techniques in their works to be made in 2024. There will be 3 workshops, each lasting for 2 days with traditional handcraft techniques and half a day in nature with practicalities about working with big scale land art sculptures The dates and Craftspersons: 23-24/5, Ulf Mikalsen Traditional boat builder and Lafter.
