About Kjerringøy Land Art:
Artists from different background and methods of expression create with materials from nature and make new works in the landscape of Kjerringøy. The main concept is to work with what nature can offer in biodegradable materials and thereby accentuating and focusing on natural resources in an ecological way. The artists change, organize, systemize and accentuate, cut, dig, braid and twine to create interventions, sculptures, performances and marks in the landscape. Artworks range from visible to hidden. While some disappear with time, others make roots and integrate into nature.
