Kjerringøy Land Art Biennale / KLAB is an international, interdisciplinary and site-specific land art biennale established by Ane Øverås in 2007.
At KLAB artists are invited to work with land art for a an extended week, ending with an opening with a guided tour of art in nature. We invite artists working in various media such as sculpture, painting, dance, performance, sound, text, photography, video etc. By bringing artists from different disciplines together in a creative community focusing on nature, we discuss the concept of land art and eco-art and create a meeting place for artists and the public.
Art is creatded with and in nature. Nothing is to be added, only altered as the work or activity should not contain external materials.
